why I never became a music video dancer

This is a video work filmed in the dance studio in Korzo theater, The Hague. For this piece I learnt choreographies from pop dance music videos (by Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna, etc.) and used my body as an archival tool for the movements to explore pop culture influences on the image of the body and what communication through the movement means in the contemporary world.
